PHOENIX WEB COMMUNITY GARDEN
We started our garden in spring 2021. Our first moves were to clean up the beds, which were completely overgrown from 2 years of neglect. In the past, the Shumei International Organization used the space for a farm utilizing their Natural Agriculture methods. Many of our crops are grown using this method: no fertilizers, no pesticides, growing from locally saved seeds, and building up the soil naturally. We learn something new each year and soon we hope to keep our community fridge stocked with fresh produce.

Let us know if you are interested in volunteering at the garden - we would love to have your help! We are there on Wednesdays most often, but also on weekends. We can give you a tour and after that you can come to the garden whenever is convenient for you.
